ULA has been working hard over the past few months to create an all new branding campaign for real estate client Lakeside Crossing. The first phase of the campaign encompassed a complete refresh of the community clubhouse and amenities, which also included a full scale photo-shoot to highlight all that this active community has to offer. The second phase of the campaign involved updating community signage and flags. The next phase took on creating an entirely new creative campaign for this active 55+ retirement community. ULA updated Lakeside Crossing’s Main Brochure Folio, Main Brochure Inserts, Rack Brochure, Regional Ads and Local Ads, all using a fresh new look and messaging designed to draw people in to the lifestyle, location and pricing of this unique Myrtle Beach, SC development. Along with the new ad collateral, a new local and regional media plan was strategically planned and is in the final stages of implementation. The final phase of this branding campaign comprised the launch of an all new website for Lakeside Crossing. Through the new messaging and media plan, potential buyers are being funneled to a brand new website that continues to reinforce the new message and collect leads for the Lakeside Crossing Sales Team to close on. Visit the Lakeside Crossing website to see what it’s all about!

ULA assisted Intrepid with collateral and displays, as well as eblasts and website materials, to announce this brand new model. ULA also assisted Intrepid with a number of other items at the boat show, including collateral for the full model lineup, video footage of customer testimonials, eblasts and digital model displays, which were implemented for the first time in Ft. Lauderdale and were a huge success. As a result of that, ULA is now working on expanding the number of digital displays for Intrepid to use at future boat shows!

The developer of a 34-unit Pompano Beach townhome development broke ground last week with 20 signed contracts in place.
Barefoot Beach Villas is billed as a project 700 feet from the ocean along State Road A1A, with prices in the $300,000 range. For more details, click here.
The developer, SobelCo., had 18 contracts after launching a sales event in July, so the needle hasn’t moved much since then.
But the groundbreaking is an important milestone to show potential residents that, in this difficult environment for construction, the development is on its way, said Jack Halkowich, a broker for Baker Real Estate, the firm handling sales and marketing.
Halkowich says the first residents are due to move in by the spring.
“There won’t be that fear that it’s not going to be done,” he said. “Things couldn’t be better.”

As published by Market Watch on 10/11/11
CHICAGO (MarketWatch) — A small Florida bank took a swipe at larger rival institutions and their newly announced fees Tuesday by offering to actually pay new customers who open checking accounts. Community Bank & Company, with 17 locations in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area, said that every new customer who opens a checking account with direct deposit will receive $5 per month for a year. “We needed to do something to help consumers who are under attack from behemoth national banks charging fees that just don’t make sense,” said Katie Pemble, Community’s president, in announcing the offer. “People have a choice of where to bank and at Community Bank we thought paying people $5 per month rather than charging them $5 per month was a good way to set us apart.” The move comes after Bank of America’s controversial decision to begin charging $5 a month to people who use their debit cards.
